Ride Taupo

Located just North of Taupo township, there is something in the Craters MTB Park for everyone.

Craters MTB Park is a Crown managed forest that allows for the creation of the fantastic trails underneath the exotic pine plantations. We have over 50kms of single track trails that range from Grade 2 (easy) to Grade 4-5 (technical) so there is something for every mountain bike enthusiast at Craters. The volcanic pumice soils allow for year round riding with free draining qualities that are not found anywhere else in New Zealand.
